I sell both on Etsy and Big Cartel mostly with timed releases but also the odd random upload. The timed releases sell out pretty quickly so keen buyers need to be online at the time of upload. Constant refreshing of the screen will update what is still available.

I am in Sydney, Australia so all times listed are AEST (be sure to check out what that equates to, if you are not in Sydney... World Clock on your smart phone is very handy for this) and all prices are in Australian dollars. The time and date of these shop updates are chosen to suit multiple time zones. It is impossible to find a time that suits everyone so apologies if it is a tricky time for you!

Australia is pretty far from the rest of the world so shipping can be expensive and ceramics aren’t the lightest items to send. I try to keep my shipping fees as low as possible but unfortunately it just is what it is! You can check out with each item separately and I will always combine shipping and refund the overage. Please also make sure your address details are up to date as I can't redirect once they have been shipped.

I have set up both shops in sections, so for quick finds, go direct to the section you are interested in rather than scrolling through the available items.

Apologies for any unsuccessful attempts and disappointment. I am not trying to create a demand... I am just making as many pieces as I can and sharing them in the fairest way possible.

Etsy Shop

When I do a timed release/batch/shop update on Etsy, I also provide a preview of the items on my website (see batches for previous previews)

Tips for successful Etsy purchasing
Sadly the Etsy shopping cart does not allow for items to be reserved for any length of time so checkout has to happen quickly for a purchase to be successful. Items can jump out of the shopping cart if someone else completes payment on that item first. (I don’t have any control over this) For faster purchasing, set up a profile in Etsy with Direct Checkout details prior to the sale (refer to the Etsy help page if you are not sure how to do this) to ensure you don't miss out. PayPal redirect takes longer.

Big Cartel Shop

I also sell from my Big Cartel shop as the platform offers a nifty feature called Coming Soon, where items can be viewed prior to the timed upload. This means I can skip creating the extra preview on my website. The coming soon listings are then made live on a pre-arranged day (as with the Etsy shop update). Big Cartel operates as most other ecommerce sites, ie you don’t have to set up a profile in order to purchase. The shop accepts Paypal and Stripe payments.
